- What is the vamp?
The vamp is the front part of the shoe that covers the toes and the top of the foot. - How do you measure heel height?
Heel height is measured from the inside of the heel (i.e. not the outward facing part of the heel) where the heel meets the floor, up to the base of the shoe. This is important - the measurement along the outside of the heel can be palpably different. - What if my shoes don't fit?
