Hi, I'm Paras, founder of Doshi. I grew up vegetarian but never had to think about dressing animal/cruelty free until 2001 when I started my first job and needed to look like a professional. Throughout the 2000's I looked for quality non-leather shoes, bags, and accessories. I tried many brands but didn't find any products that would meet three important targets: fashion, quality and comfort. Belts cracked, bags were mostly made out of canvas, and shoes had to be modified to be comfortable. Shopping for great vegan goods always involved sacrifices.
"I've always loved running behind a mission, creating, and leading and so along with the vacuum of great vegan goods, the idea for Doshi was born in my subconscious before I knew that it existed. About five years ago, I decided to start Doshi - to create beautiful products and help lead the movement away from dependence on animals, help people be free, and give back to the causes I care about. Along these lines, Doshi started an initiative called First Five For The World to donate 5% of revenue to responsible non-profits working to benefit animals, people, and the environment.
We're fortunate to live in a time where consciousness about saving the environment and living healthy, ethical lives is being met with innovative green materials, health focused movements and awareness about animal welfare. You don't have to be vegan to try our products. Try them because you like the fashion, quality and price. Buy them because you're going to use them.
