- How do you measure heel height?
Heel height is measured from the inside of the heel (i.e. not the outward facing part of the heel) where the heel meets the floor, up to the base of the shoe. This is important - the measurement along the outside of the heel can be palpably different. - What if my shoes don't fit?

This shoe is very comfortable. I was able to hike around a college campus all day without killing my feet. The open toes began to pinch by the end of the day, so I'll probably put a clear pad in the toe.
The shoe width was fine, but the length seemed a 1/2 size too big. Rather than go down one size (I have wide feet) I just placed a heel-grip pad in the back (the type created for anti-chafing) and it fit fine.
